Hi guys!

It's been a while and I'm only starting to peer out the cave I was hibernating in! Oh man! The last couple of months have been quite intense. I finished my first semester in school after a five year hiatus back in December and after resting for almost a month, I think I'm finally back on track! Hooray!

I was going to school six days a week for five classes, working a full time job on top of that, and somehow everything piled up together and I lost track of everything. This upcoming semester will probably be just as hectic but I think it might be more bearable. I will be taking seven classes (phew!) in five days and work less. I really don't want to burn myself out but the way my schedule is set up now will most likely give me more time to work on my blog, get in shape, go to school, work, and have a social life.

I want to catch you guys up on some things! I have been trying to get in shape...honestly, for as long as I can remember. Two years ago, I got into a groove and managed to lose 15 pounds and then after that I gained it all back plus some more. With all the commotion going on in my life, health and fitness, took a backseat but now I'm trying my best to get it together! Sometime around October, I decided that I didn't want to keep gaining weight. I was up to 163 pounds, the biggest I've ever been. I had a wedding to attend in November and that's what motivated me to get in shape. I got down to 151 pounds which is where I'm currently at. Actually, I don't know where I'm currently at because I haven't been able to weigh myself but I'm guessing I'm somewhere in that general area. My goal weight is 120-130 pounds and my target date is my birthday! That's almost two months from now (can you guys believe January is nearly over?). If I don't reach it, I won't be hard on myself as long as I know that I worked at it and have been getting healthier.

Now what am I doing to achieve these goals? What I do best! I've been counting calories on MyFitnessPal, I've been exercising with Cassey Ho on YouTube, and I've been getting a lot of support from my amiga who might as well start doing workout tutorials because of the crazy things she yells out when we work out together lol. She also helps me make better eating choices and life decisions...haha. Honestly though, if you guys haven't checked out Blogilates, you definitely should. I actually look forward to working out, which is a first, but hey there's a first time for everything right?
