LOTD: Cotton Candy Dreams

Hello again!

Here's another LOTD using all Inglot products! One of the products used is exclusive to the store that I work for so I'll add a suggestion next to it! I was just inspired by cotton candy and it's packaging! That was it!

Super Smiley! In this picture you can see that the lipsticks blended in together.
  • Inglot 496 Double Sparkle on the lid and underneath the brow
  • Inglot 253 Pure Pigment in the crease(you can use Dollipop from Sugarpill to get the same effect)
  • Inglot 491 Double Sparkle on the outer crease
  • Inglot Pure Pigment 19 underneath the bottom lashes (placed beneath the white eyeliner)
  • Inglot Soft Precision Pencil 31 in the waterline and underneath the bottom lashes

Haul: The Face Shop

This past Friday I met up with my BFF for a date! ♥ ♥ ♥

I wanted us to go to the fanciest place ever...a fried chicken place! Haha!

In all seriousness, Kyochon, on 32nd and 5th Avenue has theeeeee best fried chicken ever. It's a Korean restaurant and we love Korea so 'twas perfect. Since this place was pretty popular that day, we had to wait about half an hour to get a table and lucky for us we were right in K-town...or K-street haha. We went browsing and ended up at The Face Shop.

The Face Shop is a quaint little shop (or half a shop) that sells Korean cosmetics. It's a chain in Korea and lucky for me they have one here in NYC! What would I do without my Asian cosmetics? That's a thought I can't even bear to think!

I've banned myself from buying pretty much anything except lashes because my lash selection is depleted. The Face Shop has a nice variety of different lashes but from two brands. I ended up picking up a few of the Tayila eyelashes because they were very beautiful and also because I thought there was a promotion (buy one, get one free) but it turned out that I was wrong because I can't read Korean lol.

What I like about The Face Shop is that they have a rewards program and every time you shop, you accumulate a certain amount and you can put it towards your next purchase. The last time I was there I accumulated $3.33, I put this towards my lash purchase and it came out to about $14.00 and change. I think the lashes are decently priced since they were about $4.00+ each. I know that sometimes Duane Reade has lashes that run at about $6.00 so, that to me is a bargain! Haha. The best part is that they're really pretty!

My favorite ones are definitely the TS06 (the first pair). I have a feeling I might be wearing those this week! WOOHOO!

I didn't check but I don't think these come with lash glue so I'll probably just buy some Duo Eyelash Glue and stick these babies on!

First Impressions: Cargo Metallico Eyes

A long, long time ago when I worked at Sephora, the brand I used to oversee was Cargo. Cargo was such a nice little brand and then POOF they phased it out of Sephora. We didn't know why and it turned out that they stayed in the Sephoras (as in plural lol) at JC Penney, Ulta, and now the Macy's Impulse Section.

Yesterday, I was working at Macy's because Inglot is now available there (and I have to go where the send me =P) and right across from me I saw this eye shadow palette on the Cargo gondola. I swore to myself that I wouldn't buy any eye shadow because I have every color imaginable and if I don't then I'm pretty damn sure I can make it but I don't have this GLITTERY, SPARKLY STUFF!!! I DIE for glitter and I DIE even more if it's easier to apply. The whole day I was there I kept eyeing this palette and then I finally willed myself over to the gondola and swatched it. I had to have it!

These will look beautiful wet and dry! They will look beautiful on top of other colors to create more dimension! Oh! ALL THE HOLIDAY LOOKS THAT CAN BE (AND WILL BE) CREATED!!! ^_^

These sort of remind me of this limited edition Stila palette (I think it was From Dust to Diamonds or something of the sort) that came out about two years ago and that I kick myself over and over again for not getting! These shadows are really soft so if you're going to layer them on top of eye shadow I say just use your finger!

The neat thing is that it came with a little clutch and a double ended brush. One side is an angle brush which, I can never have enough of and the other side is a small shader brush. The set was $39.00.

I can't wait to start using this stuff!!! *SQUEALS*
